Member's Bio
Fred Vencill - Founder
Fred has immersed himself in the world of music since his earliest memories. He taught himself to play by plunking out melodies on the family's "baby grand" piano at the age of 5. His musical journey continued with the violin in 4th grade, drums from 5th grade through high school, and picking up the guitar in middle school. Despite being a club and college swimmer, music remained a cherished hobby, though it took a back seat to athletics.
After marrying in 1981, Fred extended his musical contributions by playing both guitar and bass for numerous local churches, assuming the role of a worship leader. In the late 1980s, he delved into band experiences that have endured to this day. Fred's dedication to his craft culminated in the production of an 11-song CD in 2008, featuring original "blues rock" material, followed by a second 4-song CD in 2018. Currently, Fred is working on four more songs slated for production.
As the driving force behind TREB, Fred feels blessed to collaborate with a group of talented musicians and good-hearted individuals.
Lillian Lee
Keyboards, Background Vocals
A classically trained pianist from the age of 5, Lillian’s musical career started out banging on the keys in kindergarten, then joining a singing group in medical school as their piano accompanist and alto singer. Since 2006, Lillian has been in and out of various local cover bands, most recently with Casual Six and Killer Rabbits. She was also half of the acoustic duo, Cellar Sessions, singing lead and performing at local wineries.
She is happy to be part of The Ripple Effect Band, as their keyboardist and backup singer. In her spare time, she enjoys performing cataract and glaucoma surgeries, baking cakes and pies, wine-tasting, and cooking beef bourguignon.
Victor Rivera
Percussion
My introduction to playing the drums began at 14yrs old at the Boys & Girls Club. I made my first drum sticks in their wood shop. Not having anything else, pot & pans were the go to, but my mom wasn't having it.
My next move was to make a drum set with a reclining chair in my bedroom. Playing along with LP’s and the radio soon rendered my kit useless. On my birthday, I got my first drum kit from Sears!!
I started playing birthdays and backyard parties around the area with “Joe Cool”, then with “Oscar and the Raiders”, lasting a few years. In the mid 70’s I landed with The Island Society Dance Band from Oceanside, playing from LA to SD and touring the Hawaiian Islands, lasting 7 years! Suavecito Soul from Vista came next, playing Latin rock for 10 years.
Bailey Denham
Lead Vocals
Bailey was born in 1999 and was singing by the time she was four, military wife and mom who grew up on classic rock.
She spent all four years in high school choir and served as choir program president her senior year. A lifelong vinyl collector, Bailey stepped from the audience to the stage in February 2025 when she joined The Ripple Effect Band as lead vocalist. Since then she has added a few local projects. Her sound pairs the warmth of those old records with the steadiness she learned in choir. Bailey’s aim is simple: turn a love of music and rock and roll into full-time work one gig at a time.
